Flying first class

Jamie Foxx's president may kick some serious behind in "White House Down," but he's got to take a back seat to Harrison Ford's grimacing commander-in-chief in 1997's "Air Force One" (7 p.m., Encore). When he tells one bad guy to "get off my plane," you know it's time to head for the exit.

Ah, wilderness!

The summer of survival continues with "Capture" (8 p.m., WUCW, Ch. 23), yet another series in which contestants test their skills in a wilderness setting. The teams battle fatigue, hunger, weather and, because this is the CW, nasty texts from Gossip Girl.

Bet on it

Marcus Lemonis, the chairman of Camping World and a consultant who has turned around more than 100 companies, offers his management skills to "The Profit" (9 p.m., CNBC), a new series in which the host puts his own money on the line. Maybe Lemonis should start by trying to turn around CNBC.
