A St. Louis County man died Saturday when the bulldozer he was driving rolled over on him.

Donald Raether was found dead at the scene at 4955 Aune Road in Saginaw, Minn. Emergency responders found him shortly after 4 p.m., pinned beneath the bulldozer, which the Sheriff's Office said had rolled down a hill.

Raether, 79, was last seen at 9:39 a.m. when he left to do some plowing on his property. When he did not return for lunch, his family went looking for him.

The Midwest Medical Examiner's Office will conduct an autopsy. The incident remains under investigation by the Sheriff's Office.

Responding were the St. Louis County Rescue Squad, fire crews from Cloquet and Grand Lake, Industrial Fire, and St. Louis County Fifth District Road Maintenance.
