Southwest Continues to Cool

Temperatures topped 100 degrees in parts of the Southwest earlier this weekas a wave of unseasonable heat baked the region. However, the record-breakinghot weather will not last much longer as the warm air continues to presseastward.The region will remain very warm today, but it will not be quite as hot asit has been. Coastal areas will begin to cool off first. By this weekend,temperatures will cool back down to seasonable levels, thanks to a cold frontpressing southward into the area.
