Scene + Heard: Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr sponsors Raise the Barr

The ballroom at the W Hotel in Minneapolis was accented with purple lights for the Raise the Barr event. Minnesota Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr and his mom, Lori Barr, sponsored a holiday program to support the Jeremiah Program.

Fans and fellow players, including linebackers Eric Kendricks and Audie Cole, took part in the event, the proceeds of which go to help single mothers excel in the workforce, help their children succeed in school and reduce generational dependence on public assistance.
