Dennis J. Rogers, of Green Valley, Arizona, passed away at his home on May 8, 2024, at the age of 80. He was born in November of 1943 to Frank and Viola Rogers in Waubun, Minnesota, where he spent his childhood on the family farm. Dennis graduated from Waubun High School in 1961. Following his graduation, Dennis enlisted in the U.S. Army, proudly serving his country for four years, including a tour in Korea. Upon returning home, he married his high school sweetheart, Clare Trapp, in May of 1967 and settled in Rosemount MN. Together, they shared a deep love and raised two sons, Matthew and Mark. Dennis enjoyed many memorable family trips and also coached track, basketball and baseball for his son's sports teams. Dennis's career with Western and Delta Airlines spanned 35 years, during which he not only excelled professionally but also formed many lifelong friendships. Dennis is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Viola Rogers; son Matthew Rogers; wife Clare Rogers, and sister LaVerne Olson. Dennis's legacy lives on through his son, Mark Rogers, and his grandchildren, Andrew, Brian, Jason, and Jamie Rogers. He will be remembered for his wit, his infectious laughter and sense of humor. A celebration of Dennis's life will be announced directly to family and friends, honoring the remarkable journey of a man who touched the lives of many.
