Huntley, Rose Lucille Bigelow November 14, 1939 May 1, 2024 Rose, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend died peacefully at the age of 84, surrounded by her family saying final goodbyes and prayers commending her spirit to the love of God. Rose was a lifelong learner and teacher, with a love of music, nature, birds, and springtime. Rose worked as a spiritual director and, early on, as a math and English school teacher and religious education teacher. She volunteered at her church on the church council, for local grass-roots politics, and as a team manager for her children's school swim team. Family and friends gathering at her home in the spring, summer and fall would enjoy Rose's beautiful garden. Rose was creative, witty, and known for her independence and sense of humor. Loved ones often describe her as one of a kind. Rose loved spending time with her grandkids and made the best soufflé and caramel rolls ever! Rose was recently preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Jack. Rose will be missed by her loving family including her sons Mike (Theresa) and Joe; daughters Lisa (Dustin), Suzanne (Terry), and Anne; her nine grandchildren Molly (Emily), Megan, John (Kyrstin), Kaitlyn (Andrew), James (Victoria), Jack 2, Greta, Alex, and Jack 3; and her great grandchild Silas.
