Carol put her busy hands to work serving others directly as well. She taught anyone willing to learn how to knit. She volunteered at the MN Masonic Hospital, delivering flowers to rooms and provided hand knit treasures for patients. She started a knitting group at her Senior Living Building who were still donating hats in 2022, 8 years after the group formed. Carol believed in and demonstrated a life of service to others.
