Winn, Jonah Age 25, passed away unexpectedly as a result of a pre- existing medical condition on April 4, 2023, at his family home in Eden Prairie. Jonah is survived by his parents, Christian and Julie Winn and his brother Elijah Winn. Jonah was preceded in death by his grandmother Jeanne Winn, his aunt Christine Winn and his godfather, Job Henning. Missing him greatly are his grand- father Tom Winn, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Jonah's Minnesota grandparents, John and Deborah Crumrine of Eden Prairie; his uncle Geoff Crumrine, wife Paula and children Parker, Evelyn and Davis of Dallas, Texas; his aunt Mimi Kerner, husband Ross and children Hadley and Harrison of St. Louis, Missouri; his uncle Justin Winn, wife Cassidy and daughter Bella of Corinth, Mississippi; his godmother Nino Japaridze and godparents Peter and Sarah Heltzel. While his life was all too brief, Jonah touched the lives of all the people he knew. Jonah possessed a joyful and generous spirit as well as a powerful ambition to make the world a better place. His smile was infectious, and in the words of his Nana Deb, "He was the best hugger ever." Simply put, Jonah loved people. Jonah was thrilled as he prepared to embark on a new career at the University of Chicago, in his favorite city. He was looking forward to reconnecting with his long-time best friend, Owen Schleif, as well as mentoring Benjamin Akers as Benjamin begins college in the fall. Jonah will not realize those particular dreams, but we hope that all who knew him will carry forward his vision and honor his memory by loving and serving others. A private Interment Service for family and close friends will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday April 14 at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis, and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday April 15 at 2 p.m. at Meetinghouse Church, 6200 Colonial Way, Edina, MN.
