Robert Larson passed away peacefully on September 20th, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones. He was 78. Bob was born on December 27th, 1943 in Grand Forks, North Dakota to Pauline and Louis Larson. He met the love of his life, Shirley Jean Pajari, at South High School in 1962, where they were voted "Cutest Couple". They were married on April 16th, 1966. Bob served honorably in the Marines and frequently pointed out how the Marines taught him the values of discipline, integrity, teamwork and investing in a cause larger than himself. On August 17th, 1970, their first child, Joseph Robert was born. On March 17th, 1973, he was joined by his sister, Sara Melisse. He graduated from the Academy of Accountancy and was the President of 5005 Properties, Inc. until his retirement. Bob loved playing softball, working out in the gym and watching and attending sporting events. Bob and Shirley loved traveling the world together, often bringing along family and friends. He was a deeply devoted, compassionate and generous man that will be dearly missed. Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife Shirley, his precious son Joe, his sister Mary and his niece Sheila. He is survived by his daughter Sara, his daughter-in-law Stacey, his grandchildren Samuel, John Wesley, Katherine, Eva and Isaiah and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A celebration of Bob's life will be held on Wednesday, October 12th at 6pm at the Minnetonka Community Center, 14600 Minnetonka Blvd, Minnetonka, MN 55345. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bob's honor to The Lewy Body Dementia Association.
