Damon, Frank Raymond Preceded in death by his parents Gertrude and Raymond Damon and sister Ardith Duren. Survived by his wife, Kathleen of nearly 28 years, 5 children, 9 grandchildren, sister Linda Damon, nephews, nieces, and friends all whom he loved and cared for deeply. Born in St. Paul in 1944 and graduated from Harding High School. He attended college in San Francisco for Mortuary Science. Frank loved animals and spent most days feeding treats to the neighbors' dogs. He found joy and entertainment in watching the wildlife in the backyard. After his retirement he found joy in meeting each week with his group of friends for breakfast or lunch. Frank loved his country and the U.S. Military. As a private pilot his passion was Naval Aviation which he spent hours talking about. He spent 18 years as a fireman for the Robbinsdale Fire Department, was a crime scene investigator for Hennepin County Medical Examiners Office, along with driving limos, ambulances, and cement trucks. Frank spent his life helping others and was full of compassion. He also spent countless hours with his children and grandchildren swimming, playing games, and watching movies. A private celebration of life will be held in the future.
