Weisse, Ann 62, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital in Shakopee, MN, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was born July 12, 1960, in Green Bay, WI. Ann was a deeply loved sister, aunt, and friend to many and will be missed beyond what words can express. The sixth of seven siblings, Ann was the glue that held the family together. Her selfless nature, limitless compassion and caring for others extended across her entire family from taking care of her parents to attending countless sporting events, concerts and outings for her nieces and nephews. Always putting others first was her compass for life; offering help, support, and assistance to anyone who needed it. The birthday yard signs, the calls and texts just to check in, volunteering to organize a group gift, remembering everyone's favorite treats, the list is endless of the unique ways she made everyone feel special. She was fiercely independent and capable of so many things, especially taking on any do-it-yourself project around her home. Ann balanced her career as a systems analyst with an amazing creative side, enjoying beading, furniture refinishing, baking, gardening, and making any imaginative party decoration for a family gathering, among countless other things. She is survived by her siblings: Terry Rocheford, Edina, Minnesota; Peter, Carlton, Minnesota; Paul (Wendy), Camano Island, Washington; Mary (Jeff), Prospect Heights, Illinois; Tom (Mary), Denver, Colorado; Lisa (Mic), Edina, Minnesota; 10 nieces and nephews; and seven great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother-in-law Mark Rocheford. Her family acknowledges and extends a sincere thank you to the entire staff at Minnesota Oncology in Edina for the tremendous care and support they provided. To honor Ann's wishes a private service will be held to celebrate her life. The family asks in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
