Welter, Robert "Bob" James passed away into the loving arms of God at the age of 71 after battling with Parkinson's Disease for 16 years. He was married to the love of his life Debra Joan of Maple Grove, MN for almost 20 years. He is survived by his two children and three grandchildren, a stepson, and a stepdaughter along with two step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Mary and Gerald (Jerry) Welter and his sister Martha. Bob is also survived by his two brothers and three sisters and countless friends and loved ones. Bob was born September 17, 1950, in Minneapolis and died with family by his side on May 7, 2022, at White Pine Assisted Living in Blaine, MN. He was a wonderful man, who loved his family to his final days. Bob was honest, caring, compassionate, and always was willing to help other people in need. He loved telling jokes and liked to make people laugh. A celebration of Bob's life will be held with a memorial service on August 19th at 11 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Minnetonka.
