Langer, June M. of Edina, MN, passed away May 10, 2022. With will and determination, she lived to celebrate her 89th birthday and Mother's Day on May 8 with her beloved family. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Richard D. Langer; children and their spouses, Kurt and Cindy Langer, Ann and Jim Green, Sue and Jay Dommeyer; grandchildren, Jack (Shelby) Langer, Molly (Karl) Green, Sam (Ellen) Green, Adam Dommeyer, Lindsey (Ben) Hudak and Aaron (Christina) Dommeyer; six great grandchildren, Mac, Ingrid, Liesel, Zeke, Sven and David; and sister, Phyllis Widmer of Medford, WI. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Marcella Greitsch, and her granddaughter, Jenna Langer Vancura. June met Dick while working as a Med Tech for Dick's family doctor in Faribault, and had their first date at the Prom Center Dance Hall. They raised their children together in Bloomington, moving to Edina to enjoy their golden years together while traveling much of the world and snowbirding in all the usual southern states. June was a wonderful cook, loved to entertain, read, golf and ALWAYS enjoyed one half inch of Southern Comfort with four ice cubes nightly! But mostly she loved being with her family, talking daily to catch up on "what's new," celebrating birthdays, holidays, and simply being together. She will be missed deeply by her family and all who knew her and were blessed by her beautiful smile. Please join us in celebrating her life, "depending on the weather" as June would say, Tuesday, May 24, Pax Christi Catholic Community, 12100 Pioneer Trail, Eden Prairie, MN. 9:30 Visitation, 10:30 service, followed by lunch. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Children's Cancer Research Fund or The Alzheimer's Foundation.
