Andert, Mark Michael Age 58, originally from Shoreview, MN. It is with deeply saddened hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Mark on April 9th, after a 3.5 year courageous and intense battle with cancer. Mark was a self taught musician who started playing piano and singing at a very young age at St. Odilia Church. His gifted musical talents went on to take him to performances at the MN State Fair with his first original band and various others over several following years. This eventually led him to opening the original "Bugsy's Dueling Piano Show" which expanded into additional shows in Las Vegas, many venues in California, cruise ships and overseas. Mark additionally fronted a show at Trump's Taj Mahal. He was also honored by performing at the 2002 Winter Olympics. He played many shows on the Las Vegas strip, including the Mark & Tina show at the Flamingo Hotel & Casino. Mark will forever be remembered for his personality, contagious smile, love for life, and God given gift of entertaining. Mark will be deeply missed, never forgotten and forever loved by his family, Joey and all fortunate to have met him or seen him play. Mark is survived by his parents (Len & Sara Andert), partner (Joey Gardner), siblings Jeff (Traci) Andert, Jodi (Andy) Baumtrog, David (Mary Kay) Andert, Mary (Tim) Gabrelcik, Rick Newlin, special family member, Sandi, and friends Shelly(Shimmy) and Diane. A special loving thank you to his dearest friend, Kirsten. He also leaves behind many nieces & nephews that love him and will miss him dearly. Funeral arrangements by Simple Cremations, Las Vega, NV. Celebration of life details to follow at a later time. Memorials preferred to gofund.me/…
