Ruppert, Michael Jeron Age 59. Born in Robbinsdale, resided in Brooklyn Park. Preceded in death by father, Jeron Ruppert; uncle, Myron Ruppert; uncle, Roger Carlson. Survived by mother, Joyce Ruppert; sisters, Michelle Ruppert, Terry Romero (Alex); nephew, Geovanny Romero. Graduated from Robbinsdale High School, Studied Humanities at U of M, Studied film at U of Wisconsin, Madison. Worked first at Dayton-Hudson as acct supervisor but found his calling as director of ticketing at MN Orchestra. Positions at Paciolan, New Era Tickets, Toptix, LA Philharmonic/Hollywood Bowl, Smith Ctr L.V. Thrilled to work at President Barack Obama's Inauguration and shake his hand! Mike loved life, ever curious about history, politics, cultures, nature, food. A real "people guy", fished all waters, and loved traveling. Fan of "Fawlty Towers", Sat Night Live, movies, opera (esp. Wagner). He was a loving son, brother and uncle, and loved to plan fun things for all. He was proud of his 2 years sobriety. Memorials preferred to: Support for Ukraine through St. John's Charitable Fund or Covid research or relief. Services Saturday, April 9 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Park. Visitation at 4 pm with service at 5 pm. Private interment at Glen Haven.
