Fleck, Garry Jon passed away on November 29th at home in Plymouth, MN. He was born in Fargo, ND, on July 24, 1960, to Marian (Propst) and Lawrence Fleck, Sr. He grew up in Pinewood and Bemidji, Minnesota, graduating from Bemidji High School in 1978. He also attended Bemidji AVTI and BSU. He drove school bus in Bemidji before moving to St. Louis Park, MN, in 1989. From there he had various trucking jobs, completing his career at Metro Transit. He said he spent most of his career driving because he didn't know what he wanted to be when he grew up. You knew you were in good hands with Garry behind the wheel, but now he has let Jesus take the wheel. He was an avid collector of Hamm's Beer signs and memorabilia and an original member of the Hamm's Club, plus belonging to other various clubs. He also loved to hunt and fish (special thanks to Dave and Coke Speck and family for some of his memorable fishing trips and the many garage sale adventures). He is survived by wife, Tonneli Christianson; dog, Beavis; brothers, Terry (Cathy) Fleck and Lawrence (Chuck) Fleck, Jr.; nephew/nieces, David (Kristan) Fleck, Tawnia (Glenn) Heilman, Holly (John) Waslaski; great nephews/nieces, Kylee and Lexi Fleck, Amber Waslaski (Tyler), Mason St. Peter (Angelica), Kate (Kelly) Dockter, Dustin (Beth) Heilman; father-in-law, Arnold Christianson (Barb); brother-in-law and family, Bruce (Lori) Christianson and family; Brandon (Carrie) Christianson, Justin Christianson (Kara) and children James and Simon, Meagan (Aaron) Hulsebus and children Emryn and Declan. Preceded in death by parents, nephew, Tony St. Peter; mother-in-law, Carol Christianson. Many thanks to Dr. Okuno and team at Mayo Clinic, Methodist Hospital, Park Nicollet Hospice and Dr. Labere of North Clinic. Also, special thanks to his many earth angels that showed up when we needed you. Rest in Peace, Garry, you are one of God's many. Services and celebration of life will take place in Spring 2022.
