Greimel, Dawn Grace Van Alstine On October 20th Dawn Grace Van Alstine Greimel, age 87 of Bloomington, left this earthly life, leaving a trail of joy, love, and faith that inspired her family and countless others in her wide orbit. Whether you were a classmate, a child at her favorite resort, a sixth-grader in Rochester or Edina, a Native American child, a Great Books student, an older adult chorus member, a fellow singer on stage, or a good friend, she showed up and made lives just a bit happier, leaning in with her loving and patient ear and radiant smile. She loved God, family, singing, laughing and dancing. Dawn was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Fern Van Alstine; her parents-in-law Frank and Valeria Greimel; brother-in-law Thomas Greimel; her nephew, Vladimir Jr. (Rocky) Gribovsky, and her brothers-in-law, James Houck, Jerry Klaimon, and Chani Sra.
