Wade William Metsa age 56 of St.Louis Park, MN passed away at his home on June 23rd, 2021.

Wade was born on December 20th, 1964 in Minneapolis to John and Lura Metsa. He graduated from Jefferson High class of 83’ in Bloomington. He served in the Army as apart of the 82d Airborne Division. He was an avid photographer and loved to see his life behind a lens. He enjoyed traveling and cooking. Deer camp at the family land was a tradition which he also loved to partake in. He previously worked in construction, maintenance, and retail. Some of his employers include; Welsh, Target, and Mac’s Roll Off.

His life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. He brought so much joy to our family and those around him. He will be remembered most for his humor, kindness, and selflessness.

He is survived by his brothers; Curtis Metsa and Brent Metsa. Nephew; Kyle Metsa. Niece; Brittany (Nick) Rowe. Great nephew and niece; Bennett and Ella Rowe. His long time best friend Johnny LaRue. And god daughter Kayla LaRue.

He is preceded in death by his parents, aunts, uncles, and other extended family.

In place of a funeral there will be a celebration of life on August 22nd, 2021 from 12-3pm at the Bridge Tavern outside Crosby. All who knew him are welcome to come share memories and celebrate his life! Otherwise any condolences can be sent to 11939 CR 118 Merrifield, MN 56465.
