Euler, David 70, passed away on Sunday June 6th 2021 in Plymouth MN. Born on January 21st, 1951. Dave was the middle child of Greg and Mary Fran Euler growing up in Detroit Michigan. He graduated from Cooley High School, graduated from Taylor University with a degree in Chemistry, obtained a PhD in Physiology from Loyola University Chicago and did a 2 year post doctorate program at the University of Pennsylvania. Dave had a long career in academia and the private sector with his specialized training and knowledge of the heart. He was an assistant professor at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago and was responsible for a lab there that did many studies on various therapies for heart disease. He joined Medtronic Corporation in Minneapolis MN in 1998 as a research scientist and left in 2008 and then began his consulting business in his specialized area of science as well as editing research papers from doctors outside of this country trying to get published in medical journals in the US. Dave was brilliant in his field and nurtured many medical students as well as colleagues on their professional journeys. He also co-authored many medical articles that were published in various medical journals over his thirty five-year career. Dave had been an avid and great tennis player, bicyclist, kayaker and interested in all sorts of physical fitness. Dave is survived by his two sons, Aaron Euler (Minneapolis, MN) and Justin Euler (Billings, MT), and his sister Beth Henricks (Indianapolis, IN). He is preceded in death by his brother Keith and his parents. A memorial service will be held on June 29th at Washburn-McReavy Chapel, 4101 Central Avenue NE, Columbia Heights, MN, 55421 at 11:00. Calling will be at 10:00 that day.
