Trapp, Michael John Age 50, of Eagan, died on February 20, 2021 after hospitalization for a sudden heart attack. Son of John and Linda (Schwinn) (deceased) Trapp, Mike was born on April 27, 1970 in Waukesha, WI. He attended Waukesha South High School before entering the Marine Corps. He served in Desert Storm with the mighty 2D Marine Division. He was a highly decorated Marine, who was proud of his service to our country. He went on to graduate from Moorhead State University and Hamline University School of Law. Mike remained in Minnesota where he met his wife, Kerry (Evans) from Massachusetts. He was an avid Wisconsin sports fan, listening to or watching every Brewer and Packer game and cheering for the Bucks and Badgers. Among his bucket list adventures he hoped to visit every MLB stadium and as many National Parks as possible. Mike was a calm and steady man with a larger than life personality full of blistering smart and witty humor. He thoroughly enjoyed joking with his co-workers and friends made during his 20 years at Pepsi. He loved spending time on his Harley riding endless winding roads with the wind in his face and the sun shining on his bald head. His passion for sports was matched only by his broad appreciation for music varying from Grease to Sturgill Simpson and so many more. Those interests paled in comparison to the love Mike had for his children. Mike was a loving husband and true partner for more than 17 years and a devoted father to his sons Evan (10) and Brady (7). Watching them grow and participate in their many activities brought him so much joy and satisfaction in building a life he cherished. In addition to his wife and sons, Mike is survived by his brother Chris, nephew Tucker, his godsons as well as many lifelong friends.
