Stoltman, Frank "Bud" Born August 31, 1931, passed away peacefully June 4 in his home in Coon Rapids, MN. Bud was raised experiencing the hard-working environment of the family farm in Minto, North Dakota. He served in the Army during the Korean War as a telegraph operator and achieved the rank Sargent 1st Class prior to his discharge. Following his service Bud began a career working for the Great Northern and later Burlington Northern Railroads. His early career led him to Ottumwa, Iowa where he met Shirley Perdue. The two married in 1954 and shared 48 years together. Bud will be missed and remembered for his genial nature and friendly laugh, his respectability and reliability, his devout Catholic faith, and the love he generously shared with family and friends. With his passing, Bud is reunited with his wife Shirley, son Gary, parents Frank and Sophie, brothers and sisters-in-law Ernie, Richard and Joanne, Danny and Joyce, and Mary (Mrs. Ed), and daughter-in-law Tracy. Bud is survived by brother Ed, sister-in-law Lois (Mrs. Ernie), sons Mark (Mary), Kevin, Gregg (Michelle), six grandchildren, two great- grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral service will be held at Church of the Epiphany, 1900 111th Ave NW, Coon Rapids, MN, at 10:30 am on Tuesday, June 15. Visitation beginning at 9:30 am. Memorials preferred to family.
