Ray (Furry), Margaret E. Age 73, of Westminster, CO passed away, peacefully, on April 12th in her home, after a prolonged illness. She was born in Minneapolis, MN to Donald and Dorothy Furry on July 15th, 1947. She graduated from Mound High School. Margaret earned a nursing degree (RN) from Anoka Ramsey State Junior College. She worked as a nurse for many years, before earning her BSN from Metropolitan State College of Denver and becoming a renowned consultant and educator in the assisted living industry. Through her company, CEU / Consulting and Education Unlimited, LLC, she raised the quality of care for countless assisted living residents and was often recommended by public health agencies and health care associations to assisted living communities in need of improvement. Because of her winning personality and humor, she was also a sought-after Public Speaker and Comedian. Margaret is preceded in death by her sister Rosemary (Furry) Marx and Grand Nephew Tyler Marx. She is survived by brothers Donald Furry of Mound, and Jim (Joni) Furry of Spokane, WA, by nephews Andrew (Jennifer) Marx of Edina, and Jim Furry, Jr. of Spokane, Niece Janelle Painter of Spokane, Grand Nephew Drew Marx, and Grand Niece Alexis Painter.
