Cardozo, Christopher Age 72, of Minneapolis. Died peacefully on February 21, 2021. Chris was an American art collector, curator, photographer, art entrepreneur, author and publisher. He graduated from St. Paul Academy and the University of Minnesota with a BFA (photography and film) and a Juris Doctor degree. Chris was a widely exhibited photographer whose personal work is in many public and private collections. Chris dedicated much of his life to preserving the work of Edward S. Curtis, the renowned ethnographer and photographer of Native peoples across North America. Throughout his life Chris wove into the fabric of his life a passion for nature and its creatures, often explored in his photographic work. Chris is survived by his beloved mother Patricia; siblings Julie, Claudia and Jeffrey; niece Brittany Lease (Lewis) and their children Alden, Ben and Milo. Chris has ten goddaughters and godsons with whom he shared many years of companionship and mentoring. A memorial service will be held at a future date to be announced.
