Halford, Roger Jr. age 59 of Plymouth, Minnesota died after a valiant battle with Multiple Systems Atrophy. While MSA attacked his body, it never succeeded in robbing him of his kindness and humor. Roger was born in Harrisburg Penn. His father was in the Airforce and Roger lived in Ipswitch England, Orlando Fla., Luzon Island Philippines and Biloxi Miss, before settling in Minnesota. Roger had a twenty-five year career with Best Buy, starting as a store manager when there were just twelve stores, then dedicating himself to various aspects of Services after moving to corporate. Throughout his career he made many cherished friends. He genuinely liked, and celebrated the success of those he worked with. Roger had many hobbies in life but two of his greatest loves were fishing and traveling, especially when they overlapped. To say fishing was a passion would be an understatement, for Rog it was a spiritual experience. He will be remembered most for his dedication to family and friends, his gift for living in the moment, and his ability to connect with people wherever he went. He will be dearly missed by survivors, wife, Shelly Odette-Halford; children, Jenna (Brian) Very, Bobby Halford (Brooke Rehbein); grandchildren, Zachary and Olivia; parents, Roger Halford Sr., Rita Strouth, Bob Odette; siblings, Troy (Tracy) Halford, Brian (Amber) Halford, John (Chris) Odette and several beloved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by mother, Mary Halford. In addition to the family he was born with, we want to acknowledge the love and support from people who have become family to us. Shawn and Lori Carling, Daniel and Barbara Fleishman, Mike Mady, Michelle and John LeDell, Maggie Noonan, Jack and Deann Gleason and Roger's lovely caregivers Laura Lopez and Delaney Koster.
