Pearson, Eric Alan age 59 of Eden Prairie, MN entered his eternal home on February 4, 2021 after suffering a heart attack at his home. Cherished father of Karl and Brent and beloved son of Madalyn and Marvin he was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith. As a young boy, he developed a strong sense of right and wrong and lived his life with fairness and respect for others. Growing up in the Glen Lake area of Minnetonka he was educated in the Hopkins Schools, graduating from Lindbergh H.S. in 1979. Active in sports he was a proud varsity "Flyers" hockey skater, known to many as "Gus". He furthered his education at U of M before following in his dad's footsteps in the handicap lift business. Starting as a draftsman he worked his way up in the sales department for nearly 40 years, most recently as Area Sales Manager for BraunAbility. He was known and trusted across the industry. Eric was quiet, creative and a problem solver. He was the kind of person who would help you with anything and have fun doing it. Above all, he loved his 2 sons and was proud of the young men they are becoming. He coached their hockey teams and enjoyed many games of golf with them. Pheasant hunting in South Dakota with his Dad, brothers and friends was a yearly highlight. He liked to garden there and grow produce for the family. When the Pearson family gathered to celebrate special occasions, Eric was the family's chosen homemade ice cream maker, always creating new flavors. Grateful for having shared in his life are his sons, Karl and Brent, his parents, his brothers Greg (Mary) and Jeff (Dawn) along with 6 nieces and nephews and a host of work associates and "Flyers" friends. He was preceded in death by his father Marvin on December 6, 2020. We miss you Dad, Eric, Gus, Bro. A private family service will be held on February 27, 2021. Streaming of service can be viewed at 1 p.m. CST. on youtube.com/… A celebration of life will take place when we can gather safely. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Assoc. or donor's choice.
