Ohm, Judy We lost a wonderful friend, sister, neighbor, scrapbook enthusiast, expert stuffed-animal crane-operator, secret coin collector, cheese-curd smugglin', cranberry lovin', everyday saint, with a knack for unknowingly engaging inspirational conversation. Judy Ohm was a Mother to All. Judy Ohm passed away peacefully on Nov. 19, 2020 at home in Burnsville, MN surrounded by family. Judy will be remembered for her life's work and dedication at Amherst Wilder Foundation of St. Paul, MN. As Executive Director of childhood education, she guided and enriched the lives of many children and families within our diverse community, teaching inclusivity, diversity, empathy, and compassion through her 40 years of tireless advocacy for disadvantaged youth. Good men come from great mothers. Judy gave birth to two (to even her surprise that day) twin boys which would become her proudest achievement. With the patience of a saint, she was a dedicated hockey mom, soccer mom, club-scout leader, confirmation teacher, and parent educator who raised not only her own two children, but also all those that passed through her household, making everyone, "call your motherand tell her you're staying for dinner." Judy loved to spend time with family and friends. Countless laughs were heard on Friday nights over a bottle of wine and plate of cheese. The official record keeper of all good-times, always behind the camera, shouting out, "everyone get together, let's take a picture." Regularly celebrating with, "the ladies" to immortalize such family events in her famous handmade scrapbooks and cards. Judy will be remembered by her community for her sparkling smile, like a light burning bright; reminding everyone to follow their dreams, work in their passion, and lead with their heart. Her love for all guided us all. Judy is preceded in death by her Mother and Father Gladys and Ervin Romansky of Port Edwards, Wisconsin. Survived by her two twin boys Dylan and Brian (Rachel) Ohm, her sister Pam (Lyle) Smith; nephew Alan (Mindy) Smith, her brother Jim (Val) Romansky; niece Katie and nephew Joe Romansky. A celebration of life is planned for Judy on her birthday May 25, 2020. Facebook facebook.com/…
