Our Beloved Malcolm

Tyrone Fitzpatrick Small, affectionately known as 'Malcolm', born in Barbados, West Indies to Stanley Fitzpatrick (Pat) Bowen and Maureen Orita Small (Adams). Tyrone immigrated to the United States in 1972 residing in Boston, Massachusetts with his mother and brothers. He attended Charles Lowe Elementary, Solomon Lewenberg Junior High School ultimately receiving his diploma from Boston Trade High School. Tyrone was an avid sports fan and his favorite teams were the Patriots, Celtics, Red Sox, and Bruins. On football game day, if the Patriots were losing, he would call his brother to let him know he was "about to call the coach," Bill with advice.

He enjoyed basketball but football was his sport of choice as he played AAU and high school football in his youth. Tyrone enjoyed dressing up, looking sharp, and cooking. Many would even call him a grill master. He also enjoyed gardening and spending time with family including his pal Butch the dog.  Tyrone was the birthday king, as he knew everyone's birthday, and used those numbers to play the Daily 3. His favorite numbers to play were 2-10, his birthday. Tyrone had an infectious smile even following his cancer diagnosis, he always exuded a bright and upbeat disposition toward everyone he met.
