Koffi (Slater), Lauren It is with profound sadness that the family of Lauren Koffi (Slater) announce her tragic passing as Lauren died protecting her beloved son Kiari at the age of 22 years young. Lauren was born July 12th, 1998. She looked like a little doll when she was a little girl. Lauren was very smart and very determined young lady with a huge heart, who loved pickles and Coca-Cola; she would help anyone out who was struggling and needed a place to stay or a few dollars. She was a 2016 Graduate of Minnetonka High School. Her competitive passion for fast pitch softball was well known and respected by everyone around her. After High School she went to Mankato State where she met Obin Koffi, whom she married in 2018. She had her beautiful son Kiari in 2019. He was the love of her life. She had an excellent work ethic, starting with her first job at age 15, and continued working as a server at Key's in St. Paul. She had a beautiful smile that would light up the room and a sense of humor that will be missed deeply. She leaves behind her mother Connie (Ben) Raby, father Bradley Slater (Pauline), husband Obin Koffi, and son Kiari.
