Murray, William L. "Bill" age 90 of Burnsville, MN departed this world and was welcomed to his new home with Jesus on September 12, 2020. Bill was a long-time resident of Richfield, MN. Throughout his career as an engineer he worked for Winzen Research, Rosemount Engineering, where he was Vice President of Research and Development, and Stanton Associates as a Certified Management Consultant. He is also a Marine veteran of the Korean War. Home and family were always his top priority and his faith was an important part of who he was. Bill enjoyed spending time at the family lake cabin, watching baseball and golfing. He was always a music lover and took up harmonica later in life. He devoted 15 years to leading and playing with the Happy Wanderers harmonica band. Bill was also a member of the Twin Cities Harmonica Society and played with the Harmonickers. Preceded in death by his wife Lucy, siblings Ruth Murray and James Murray. Survived by daughter, Deb (Jay) Hoekstra; grandson Mark (Nina) Hoekstra; nieces and nephews. Memorial service 11:00 AM Friday, Sept. 18 at Hope Presbyterian Church, 7132 Portland Ave. Visitation 4-7 PM Thursday, Sept. 17 at Morris Nilsen Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave. Memorials to Hope for Tomorrow Church Building Fund.
