Susan Gail 'Sibeol' Sizemore
Sizemore, Susan Gail "Sibeol" Age 69 of St. Louis Park, MN, passed away on July 21, 2020. She was born on March 24, 1951 in Harrisburg, AR. The New York Times Best-Selling author won the 1991 Romance Writers of America Golden Heart Award for best unpublished short historical novel, which sold as her debut, a time-travel romance called Wings of the Storm. The beloved sister and aunt also wrote and published over 40 novels plus novellas and short story paranormal and historical romance, fantasy, science fiction and mysteries. Susan was active in the Society for Creative Anachronism and Midwest Fiction Writers, and will be missed by many friends and readers. Preceded in death by maternal grandmother Nina Susan Murray and mother Elizabeth Jean Jackson. Survived by life-long friend Jane Kaufenberg, her sister Mary Buso, brother James Sizemore, nieces Elisa (Steven) Bauer and Faith Schlader, nephew Jimmy Sizemore, grand-nieces Ava and Grace and grand-nephew Luke Bauer. A private viewing was held July 25. Memorials preferred to the American Humane Society or the ASPCA.
