Froehlich, Andrew "Drew" Alan Age 70, of Naalehu, Hawaii died peacefully on May 10. He graduated from Minneapolis Southwest High School ('68) and Christ the King elementary school. He moved to Alaska in 1973 where he worked on the Alaska Pipeline, crewed on salmon and crab boats, and worked construction. A skilled master carpenter, Drew designed, built, and managed a nine-plex apartment building in Homer, Alaska where he lived until the early '90's. He built his house near South Point on the Big Island in Hawaii in 1993 and settled there permanently in 2006 after working in Alaska, Minnesota, and Hawaii. Drew had an adventurous spirit and a great love of animals, fishing, and the outdoors. He will be missed by brothers Peter (Elsa), Ned (Kerry), and Dan (Liz), sister Katherine, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by loving parents Andy and Ruth Froehlich.
