Leech, Grayle Glenn (75) passed away on April 28, 2020 after a sudden short illness not related to Covid-19. He was born on August 8, 1944 in Mpls., MN and graduated from Minnetonka High School. He went on to attend Stout State University in Menominee, WI earning an engineering degree. He served his country in the US Army in Viet Nam (68-70) and received an Air Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Army Commendation Medal and the Bronze Star. In the early 1970's Grayle met, and on June 8, 1974 married the love of his life, Miriam DeBoer. They lived in Mpls, MN, Marshall, MN and Maple Grove, MN. Grayle retired from Honeywell after a 30 year career as an engineer and he and his wife settled in their retirement home near Breezy Point, MN. Grayle was always interested in electronics, collected antique radios, and was a Ham Radio Operator. He loved fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren and was a long time classic car lover. He was a member of the Ham Radio Club, Northland Antique Radio Club, Pequot Lakes Brush Pilots Snowmobile Club, Northstar Cadillac Club, Lakers Car Club and the LaSalle Club. His father Glenn, mother Vi, and stepmother Teak preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife Miriam, his children, Grayle, Jr. (Paula), Andrew (Lisa), and Aimee McAlister (Justin), five grandchildren, Cameron, Garrett, Audrey, Adelyn, and Baby M due in August, and his adoring dog Tilly; also siblings Gary (Sue), Roxanne Realmuto (Bill), Linda Hanson (Don) and Mike (Jill). Grayle was a gentle, loving soul who will be missed by all who knew him. Arrangements pending. Memorials are preferred to the family in care of Washburn McReavy, 5000 West 50th St., Edina, MN 55436.
