Coolidge, Robert "Iceman" passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 6th at the age of 67 years old. Robert is preceded in death by his father Donald, mother Patricia, first wife Holly, and brothers Johnny and Jimmy. Robert lived an honorable life serving in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam war era and continued to show pride in his service to our country. Following his honorable duties in the service, the "Iceman" began a very successful amateur and pro boxing career while working to support his family. Robert was proud of his career as an officer with the Minnesota Department of Corrections while working at several facilities throughout the state. Robert was an avid marathon runner, ultra marathoner, and triathlete. Along the way, Robert inspired and motivated countless people to make goals for themselves. Robert proved to everybody that there was no mountain high enough to strive to conquer. Robert is survived by wife Bonnie, sons Jason (Jaime), Jeremy (Aerie), Van (Marie), stepdaughter Allison (Seth), and stepsons Jerrid (Amanda), and Colton. Robert will also be missed by his precious bulldog Pearl, and rescue puppy Miles. Services for Robert will be on Tuesday, February 18th, visitation 11:00am, service 12 noon at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, 5000 West 50th St. & Hwy 100, Edina 55436.
