Kelso, Bonnie Jean Buck aged 71, formerly of Minnetonka, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 1st, 2020 at Methodist Hospital in the company of family. Born on Feb 5th, 1948 in Minneapolis to the late Paul and Faye Buck, Bonnie graduated from Hopkins High in 1966 and attended Gustavus Adolphus College. For more than 20 years, Bonnie was a daycare provider in her Minnetonka home. She was proud to be active in her community and received several awards for her community service. She was an active member of many organizations, including her sorority, Beta Sigma Phi, Westwood Lutheran Church, and the Hopkins Raspberry Festival. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, sister Susan Casanova, and brother-in-law Dave Nelson. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Larry; daughters Laura (John) Stephan, Melany Terrazas, and Colleen Kelso; sister Lynne Nelson; brother Tony Buck; brother-in-law Rey Casanova; and her grandson Max Terrazas Kelso. Bonnie was vivacious, with a sunny, outgoing personality and will be remembered for her infectious laugh. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, Feb 10th, 2020 at Westwood Lutheran Church, 9001Cedar Lake Rd, St. Louis Park, MN 55426. Public Visitation will begin at 10am.
