Bockstedt, Ann Elizabeth of Minneapolis, passed away Sunday, 1/19/2020. Born 7/4/1958 in Tonawanda NY, Ann grew up in Minnetonka MN and is a graduate of Hopkins High School. She went to the University of Wisconsin before moving to California where she lived for many years attending The Fashion Institute of Design in San Francisco then moving to Los Angeles to live and work. In 2005 Ann returned to Minneapolis working for Target Corporation in Technical Design. Ann was a beautiful, brave, great lady with compassion for those in need of care and love. She loved fashion and art, cared deeply for animal welfare and traveled extensively. We will miss her kindness, her wit and her love for us all. Ann is preceded in death by her parents Russell and Nina (Cameron) Bockstedt. Survived by her brother Russell (Suzanne) Bockstedt; sisters Marjorie (Thomas) McKinley and Sandra (David) Mark; nieces and nephews and their children Jesse (Katie, Billy, Maesie) Bockstedt, Alec (Amy, Jonah, Jackson) McKinley, Lindsay (Timothy, Kai, Bennett) Santiago, Jonathan (Melissa, Magnolia, Antoinette, Rosemary, Genevieve) Mark, Joshua McKinley, Marc McKinley, Christopher (Madelyn) Mark, and Amy McKinley. Ann will be cremated and laid to rest in Lakewood Cemetary. Per her wishes a Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.
