Meanwhile, raising a family of four children that went on to pursue their own athletic and professional endeavors. Paul developed a brain tumor in 1988 requiring numerous surgeries and radiation treatments that left him unable to practice medicine. However, the love for his family never waned. Although he battled the effects of cancer for 30 years, his life life ended only after witnessing a plethora of family milestones and he was so proud. It is important to note that without the love and care of his wife, Janet, he would not of had that opportunity. Our family would like to thank everyone who said prayers for Paul and supported us throughout this journey. Cheers to a loving and kind soul!
