Allison, Ursula V. Ursula V. Allison ended this chapter of her life journey at a happy 97. Child of the North Dakota prairie and daughter of a rural physician Ursula learned hardship and helpfulness. Journeying far from home to master nursing at Hamline University, she graduated to treat wartime casualties as an Army Lieutenant. Upon discharge Ursula returned to complete a Public Health degree at the University of MN where she met her lifelong partner-to-be John W Allison. Together they raised 3 active children John, James (Jean Marie) and Jean (Charles). As the children grew, Ursula again sought to contribute her skills serving in various health roles for Minneapolis schools and daycare earning leadership recognition from the Greater Minneapolis Daycare Association. Ursula felt blessed with a healthy family, friendly neighbors and MN quality of life. Ursula is survived by friends and family including sister Ilse, nephews Dan and Chris, the Siegert and Nesheim families plus the many she cared for. In passing Ursula wishes all who knew her peace and good will. A private service will be held.
