Holland, Patrick L. Age 57, of Eden Prairie, passed away June 6th, 2019 after a brave 6-year battle with adrenal cancer. He was kind, intelligent and conscientious with unwavering devotion to family and friends. His positive attitude was a constant source of inspiration through years of uncertainty, hospitalizations and treatments. Pat was born September 9th, 1961 in Aurora, MN, saying many times, it was wonderful place to grow up. He loved and excelled in hockey, baseball and football in his youth and body building as an adult. He graduated from Aurora/Hoyt Lakes High School in 1979, later receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Actuarial Science/Math from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. His minor area of study, Computer Science, was his career path. He worked at Express Scripts in Bloomington, MN for over 23 years as a manager and most recently, Failover Lead in IT. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Florence Holland, brothers John, Charles and James, sister Linda and nephew Jude. Survived by his loving wife Laurel of Eden Prairie, step-daughter Chloe Murphy and husband Mac Murphy of Golden Valley, step-son Colton Winkelman of Eden Prairie, many nieces/nephews & his beloved dog Benson. A Celebration of Life service is scheduled at Hosanna! Church in Lakeville, MN, Sat. June 29th, 2019 at 10:00am with lunch to follow. A special thank you to Dr. Todd Tuttle / University of Minnesota Hospitals, Dr. Keith Bible/ Mayo Clinic and Anne Hartman, PA-C /Allina Clinic. Pat was dearly loved by many and will be greatly missed.
