Katelyn, 16, is quiet and shy when you first meet her, but she opens up and likes to talk once she gets to know you. She is helpful when she needs to be and enjoys working at a nursing home, where she likes to talk to the older residents. Katie loves to read, play computer games and listen to rap music — especially Eminem. She enjoys spending time in the barn taking care of the kittens. A family who can provide structure and who has animals that she could care for would be a good fit. Following adoption, Katie would need to maintain contact with her birth mother.
