Keanu Reeves can still tussle with the best of them, and he needs to in “John Wick” (R, Lionsgate), an action flick in overdrive. The movie is what you’d expect from two stunt-choreographers-turned-directors (David Leitch and Chad Stahelski). As the movie begins, Wick’s wife has just died. He’s despondent, but things warm up when Wick receives an adorable beagle puppy. Then Russian hooligans break into Wick’s house to steal his 1969 Mustang, mercilessly beating him as well as the pup. These young thugs don’t realize Wick is a retired hit man with a frightening reputation. Naturally, he plans to seek revenge against one of the thugs, who’s the son of Wick’s old employer.
