Corrections and clarifications

In an obituary for John DuRand that appeared in the March 15 metro section, the first names of two relatives were misspelled because of incorrect information given to the paper. The two are Gayle Garrity of Hudson, Wis., and Richelle DuRand of Maplewood.

A photo caption on Page A12 on Thursday incorrectly reported the number of antiwar demonstrators who walked across the Lake Street bridge Wednesday evening. The demonstrators put the number at 800.

An item on Page A1 and Paul Douglas' weather column on Page B10 Thursday gave an incorrect time for the start of spring this year. Spring arrived at 12:48 a.m. Thursday.
