Greg Stanley

Jake Steinberg

Graphics producer | Graphics producer

Jake Steinberg is a graphics producer at the Star Tribune focusing on cartography and visual storytelling. He grew up in Oakdale and attended the University of Minnesota. After graduating with a BA in journalism in 2019, Jake moved to Arizona to work as a public radio reporter. Jake returned to the Midwest in 2021 to get a master's degree in cartography and GIS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His maps have made it into the pages of the Wall Street Journal and been featured in the North American Cartographic Information Society's Atlas of Design, the preeminent showcase of excellent maps. Jake lives in East Bde Maka Ska with two bikes, a rotating cast of plants and Juneau, an American dingo.

Peter Steinert

A native of Farmington Hills, Mich., Steinert lives in south Minneapolis. He enjoys books and movies in his spare time and plays on a 50-and-over baseball team.

Brian Stensaas

A native of Stoughton, Wis., Stensaas graduated with a degree in communications from the University of Minnesota where he covered a variety of Gophers sports teams for the Minnesota Daily. He lives in Apple Valley with his wife and daughter.

Billy Steve Clayton

Clayton moved to Minnesota from southern California with his wife in 1984. They raised two boys in St. Louis Park. He's a graduate of California State University, Fullerton with a B.A. in Art and Music. Previous experiences includes working for a motion picture title studio in Hollywood during the 1970s and playing piano professionally for over 12 years.

Jeff Strickler

A native of New York City, Strickler studied journalism with a minor in theater at the then-College of St. Thomas (now University) in St. Paul. He and his wife have lived in St. Louis Park for 35 years — albeit in four different places over that time — where they raised their two daughters.

Glen Stubbe

Stubbe has been covering the world's celebrations and news events for over 30 years and has photographed the last eight Presidents. Assignments have taken him to China and India, Colombia and Nicaragua, the White House and the halls of Congress. Prior to coming to the Star Tribune, he worked for The Washington Times in Washington, D.C., Tampa Tribune in Florida and Wilkes-Barre Times Leader in Pennsylvania. He grew up on Long Island, N.Y., and graduated from Syracuse University with a B.S. in Photojournalism. Stubbe is married with two grown children and two white fluffy dogs.

Lori Sturdevant

Sturdevant is a native of Dell Rapids, S.D., and a graduate of Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She has been a member of Coe's board of trustees for 30 years. Sturdevant lives in St. Paul with her husband. They have three grown children.
