Guard Marcus Georges-Hunt was sent to the Iowa Wolves, the Timberwolves' NBA G League affiliate.
He joined the Iowa team in Prescott Valley, Ariz., where it played Phoenix' G League team on Thursday night. There's a good chance he could return to the Wolves on Friday.
Georges-Hunt played in six games for the Timberwolves (11 minutes) and scored two points.
The 6-5 guard from Georgia Tech signed as a free agent in August after playing for Orlando and Miami last season.
