7 P.M. at Tulsa • No TV (106.1-FM)

Lynx at a glance: Look at Minnesota’s 3-1 start, the fact that Tulsa is 1-5 and one might assume the Lynx would have no trouble improving its winning streak against the Shock to 12 games. For that to happen the Lynx will need to continue playing defense the way they did Tuesday against San Antonio and not the way they did in Saturday’s loss in Washington. Point guard Lindsay Whalen is coming off a season-high 23 points with seven rebounds and six assists vs. San Antonio Tuesday. She is second in the WNBA in assists (7.3). F Rebekkah Brunson is fifth in rebounding (9.8) and F Maya Moore remains first in scoring (28.7). The Lynx are first in the league in scoring (77.5) and second in scoring differential (+11.50), but are 0-1 on the road this season.

The Shock at a glance: Tulsa opened the season playing five of its first six games on the road, difficult for a team getting used to new players, including a highly-touted rookie (point guard Skylar Diggins), a high-profile addition (former Wolves player Candice Wiggins) and the return of center Liz Cambage. Still, recently, there has been improvement in the team’s play. Cambage is scoring 18.7 points per game, but is questionable because of an ankle injury that has kept her out of the last three games. F Glory Johnson is averaging 16.0 points. Diggins is averaging 10.3 points and 4.7 assists per game, but also 4.3 turnovers. Wiggins, starting is averaging 7.0 points and 3.0 assists per game.
