St. Thomas relied on its experienced passing game Saturday to turn back visiting St. Norbert 20-7 in St. Paul.

Dakota Tracy completed 18 of 34 passes for a career-high 336 yards, and fellow senior Fritz Waldvogel's 62-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter placed him first in the record books with 30 TD receptions for the fifth-ranked Tommies.

Waldvogel finished with seven receptions for 144 yards. Tracy also ran for two touchdowns.

Bethel 55, Simpson 3: The seventh-ranked Royals rolled to a victory in Arden Hills behind senior quarterback Josh Aakre, who rushed for three TDs and passed for two, all in the first half.

St. John's 34, Northwestern (Roseville) 0: The Johnnies, ranked No. 25 in NCAA Division III, rolled to the home victory behind a balanced offensive attack. Sophomore quarterback Connor Bruns threw two touchdown passes to senior Sam Pederson. Junior running back Stephen Johnson added a touchdown and 111 yards on 19 carries.

Concordia (Moorhead) 37, Dickinson State 13: The Cobbers received a wake-up call in the form of a 13-0 second quarter deficit but settled down and racked up 395 yards of offense. Junior Brett Baune rushed for 63 yards and two TDs.

St. Olaf 24, Luther (Iowa) 22: Leon Clark carried the host Oles, rushing 31 times for 137 yards. St. Olaf stopped a late two-point conversion.

Augsburg 34, Concordia (Wis.) 31: The Auggies rallied from an 11-point second-half deficit in Mequon, Wis. The start was delayed two hours by lightning.

Carthage (Wis.) 16, Carleton 13: The host Knights dominated the first half with 248 yards en route to a 10-0 lead.

Grinnell (Iowa) 31, Macalester 6: Mike Adams' 36-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter was all the host Scots could muster.
