Evenocheck is the second-leading scorer for the Irish girls' basketball team. The Rosemount captain is averaging a team-best 13.2 points per game in the 2014-15season. A Funny, tall and awkward.

A "Arena" by Con Bro Chill; "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" by Backstreet Boys, and anything by Hoodie Allen.

Q At our first varsity practice, how did you feel?

A Overwhelmed by the fast-paced play and intensity. Also, confused by all the plays we were given.

Q What is your most memorable moment as a high school athlete?

A Being a part of the Class 2A cross-country state meet.

Q What are your athletic goals for the remainder of the 2014-15 school year?

A I want to leave the programs stronger than when I started, and help my teams be the best they can be.

Q What is your favorite meal before a game or meet?

A Jelly beans.

Q Name one sport you wish you could participate in that you don't?

A Gymnastics. I want to be able to do not only a flip, but a flip on a beam.

Q How do you balance school and sports during the year?

A I have an organized calendar, and very helpful parents that remind me what I have to do.

Q In 10 years, what do you hope to be?

A A civil engineer, computer scientist or guiding canoe trips in northern Minnesota.

Q Since it's the holiday season, what's the best Christmas present you have ever received?

A My first cellphone. I was the last one of my friends to get one.

Q What is on your Christmas list this year?

A Beats headphones and Nike basketball socks.
