Captain Andrew Suitor’s goal at 9:43 of the fourth quarter broke a 9-9 all and Kiel Matisz scored two minutes later in the Minnesota Swarm’s 11-10 road victory over the Philadelphia Wings on Saturday afternoon.

“We knew this [performance] would come,” coach Joe Sullivan said after the Swarm’s first victory in three National Lacrosse League games. “The guys persevered.”

Jordan MacIntosh had two goals and three assists and Callum Crawford had a goal and four assists to lead the Swarm with five points apiece.

The Swarm will play the Wings (1-3) again at 2 p.m. Sunday in its home opener at the Xcel Energy Center.
