Most outdoor rinks in Minneapolis close Monday

Most of the the outdoor rinks in Minneapolis will close at the end of the day Monday. Rinks may be usable but will not be maintained and warming houses will be closed.

But weather permitting, rinks and warming houses will stay open through Feb. 21 at three city parks: Lake of the Isles, 2500 Lake of the Isles Pkwy. E.; Matthews Park, 2318 29th Av. S., and Van Cleve Park, 901 15th Av. SE. For those not ready to kick off their skates, Parade Ice Garden offers public indoor skating and group rentals, and Northeast Ice Arena offers group rentals until March.
