McCutchen's tools
The 20-80 grading scale is what major league scouts use, with 20 being worst and 80 being best. A score of 50 is considered major league average; a promising prospect should be above average in at least two tools. The following are Andrew McCutchen's ratings from an anonymous MLB scout:
