Highways and freeways are still slick, but in the south and east metro pavement is showing through. Roads there are slushy and mainly wet.

It's a different story in the north and west metro. Roads are still snow covered and icy.

The list of accidents is shrinking, but we still have our issues.

The ramp from Northbound 35E to Ayd Mill Road is still closed due to a stall. But better news on Century Avenue where the ramp from westbound 694 has reopened after nearly an hour shut down.

It's tough going on westbound 694 from Rice Street to Lexington Avenue. Semis are struggling to get up the hills in that area.

Look for a couple fresh crashes on eastbound 94 near Dowling Avenue. We also have one on southbound 494 at Minnetonka Blvd.

The left shoulder is blocked on southbound Hwy. 100 at Cedar Lake Road in St. Louis Park.

Watch out for the tow truck that is helping a motorist who went off the road on the slip from northbound 494 to eastbound 94/694 in Maple Grove.

Eastbound 94 also sluggish from Albertville to Maple Grove due to earlier crashes at Hwy. 101.
